MFA adds an extra layer of protection to your account by requiring a second verification step when you sign in โ€” beyond just your password.

Protecting your data is a top priority for us. Enabling MFA helps safeguard your account from unauthorized access and ensures your sensitive tax and financial information remains secure.

What You Need to Do

Please take a moment to review and update your security settings in the client portal.

  1. Log in to the Fintacs Client Portal
  2. In the top-right corner, click on the profile icon (your account profile)
  3. Select Account
  4. Navigate to Security
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to enable multi-factor authentication

Your MFA Options

You can choose the method that works best for you:

  • SMS verification (receive a code via text message), or
  • Authentication apps such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or similar tools.

We recommend using an authentication app whenever possible for the highest level of security.
